Deep Stretch and Restore

A slow, prop-supported practice that opens tight hips, hamstrings and shoulders — and teaches your body what deep release actually feels like.

About this class

Slow Down to Open Up

Deep Stretch and Restore holds floor-based postures for two to five minutes each, using blocks, straps and bolsters so your muscles can stop gripping and finally let go. Fascia releases, joints decompress, and the mental chatter fades somewhere around minute twenty.

It is the perfect first class for complete beginners, and the perfect recovery class for athletes and power-flow regulars. If you can breathe, you can do this class.

What to expect

Inside a Restorative Session

Long, Supported Holds

Two-to-five-minute poses with full prop support — your muscles do almost nothing while your body opens.

Hips, Back & Shoulders

Each week targets the three zones where modern life stores tension — sequenced for maximum release.

Guided Relaxation Close

A 10-minute yoga-nidra-inspired rest that leaves most students floating through the rest of their day.

What to Bring

A mat, two blocks or cushions, a strap or belt, and a blanket. Warm socks encouraged — you will cool down fast.

"My lower back pain eased after three sessions. I arrived thinking I was too inflexible for yoga — this class proved me completely wrong."
